Perennial shrub blooms in the dead of winter, December, January, or February depending on the year.  Bright cheerful yellow flowers in the winter sun, a full month before forsythia blooms.  Blooms most prolifically in full sun.  Looks fabulous draped over a wall or fence, as it has a weeping habit.  Can also be grown upright, or woven upwards into a fence.  Prune after flowering if desired.
